Due to the corona crisis our everyday office life has been turned upside down and most of our employees are working from home. Thus, Candy will also have to start her internship from home. Surprisingly, this strategy is working out great, thanks to our internal communication platform Microsoft Teams. Candy’s internship is proving to be a valuable experience albeit the adversity we are all facing today.
Candy Bolten has been living in North-Rhine Westphalia (western state in Germany) since 1999. There she worked in a facility that cared for people with disabilities for many years. Even back then Candy has always had a knack for working with computers and was selected for several IT-workshops and to explain new programs to her coworkers. In July 2019, Candy decided for a professional retraining to become an IT management assistant. This is also the reason for her internship at Compass Software, which will take place from March 3. to June 26, 2020.
In her free time Candy likes to spend time with her husband and daughter. She loves to sew for her family and friends. No pattern is too complicated for her. We are happy to welcome Candy to our team and are thrilled that we can offer her this internship despite the global pandemic.
