Compass Software with SEMA at Mass Timber Conference

Our Compass Software Inc. General Manager Milena Schaefer visited the Mass Timber Conference in Portland, OR together with the SEMA Group last week.

The Mass Timber Conference in Portland is an annual timber event in North America. With approximately 3,000 visitors, the conference reached new record attendance this year. Timber companies, CLT producers, software companies, and other industry professionals met for three days in Portland. Next to daily presentations and conferences, there was also a large exhibition floor.

Milena from our subsidiary in Atlanta exhibited together with the SEMA group at the conference. SEMA was represented by CEO Alexander Neuss, Head of Sales Emanuel Schupik, Christian Schmalholz from International Sales, and Devin Musak from the Canadian office in Calgary. The Mass Timber Conference was a great opportunity for Milena to swap ideas with timber experts and she even met some Compass Software users there.

Next to the lively exchange with timber builders and industry experts, the team also had chances to chat while drinking beer and to let off steam during axe throwing.
