Previously, the dynamic flange could only be set at a 90° angle to the stringer edge. Now, the user can also position the dynamic flange parallel to the tread edge. This is important to ensure that the flange fits under the tread head without overhang. This can be the case in the corner of a winding staircase. The new option “Parallel to tread front or back edge” allows the tread to fit better on the flange. This eliminates the need for manual reworking and checking of the fittings.
The new feature was developed by our trainee Nune Najaryan as part of her final project.
