The extension External Stair lets Compass Software users import external DXF tread data into the stair software.

External Stair:

The module External Stair allows you to import DXF tread data into Compass Software. It is possible to import individual treads or tread data from entire DXF stair drawings. After import, users can edit the treads and finalise them by defining tread thicknesses and other important details. The treads are then fully integrated and can be used just as treads that were originally designed with the CS programme, e.g., for:

  • further designs
  • calculation of combinations
  • parts lists
  • 1:1 templates
  • CNC processing
  • and more

External Stair Plus:

The module External Stair Plus offers everything External Stair does and more:

  • automatic import of DXF tread data
  • automatic import of Wagemeyer and Hartmann treads

The automatic mode is especially timesaving!
