Homemade Post Clamping Device for CNC Machine

Compass Software user Droomtrappen from the Netherlands recently built his own post clamping device for CNC processing. The machine-independent post clamping device was built in less than 1 hour and on top of it, proved to be highly inexpensive (ca. 120-150 €). The stair builder used two Black & Decker Workmate Universal Workbenches, two wooden support boards and a few screws, as well as glue. The result is a fully functioning clamping device that makes the fixation of posts easy and quick. The support boards are big enough to position four common vacuum cups (size, ca. 150x150mm) under them per each post clamping device. An inventive and practical solution!
