The new Biesse Rover A 1643 with 5 axes and automated vacuum cups is replacing the already existing 4-axis HOMAG Optimat, which had been installed with Compass in 2010. During the installation the team processed several parts, e.g. treads, stringer-handrail combinations, posts, and risers. Furthermore, our technician successfully configured and tested the processor for upright processing of handrail parts and stringers.
One of the axes, which was not calibrated correctly in the beginning, was quickly adjusted by one of the Biesse technicians and all parts could be ran correctly after that. We would like to thank Schramm for their loyalty and wish them much success in the future. We are looking forward to continue working with them.
