Limits Possible in Online Configurator and Winding Details Optimised

It is now possible to set limits in the online stair configurator, e.g., minimum and maximum tread width, rise, etc. The winding details have also been optimised.

The user can activate the limits in the software’s offline administration. The stair configurator adopts the limits from the floor plan predefinitions. The limits are displayed to the end user below the respective input fields and only entries within the limits are possible. Invalid values are marked in red, and the end user cannot leave the page until they are corrected.

The different limits can be assigned to different stair types in the respective ground plan predefinitions. This is important to cover specific building codes or system staircases.

The user can determine which limits to set for which user groups, e.g., anonymous users are bound by the limits but logged in users, e.g., their own salespeople, do not have to adhere to the set limits.

Nothing will change for existing customers. The new limit feature must be enabled and uploaded in the offline administration.

The menu tab “winding detail” has also been optimised. The “use fixed run” and “use fixed entrance tread” options are now mutually exclusive. Only one of the two options can be selected. The other option is disabled and cannot be edited. The inactive field shows the result of the entry in the other field. This is important to avoid incorrect entries, as both fields are interdependent.
