Milling Pockets for Open Stringer Plates in Stringer Contour

The old version – “horizontal pockets” - and the new extension – “vertical pockets”- can be combined at will within a stair or stringer.

The vertical cutting of open stringer plates is especially useful for stairs that do not have to be aesthetically pleasing from below. This option makes it possible to produce stairs even faster and more efficiently. The stringers can be manufactured with nesting operations - within the plate optimisation - or as a table arrangement. This saves significant amounts of material. The pockets can be made on a 3-axis machine via the contour work processes. Furthermore, it is possible to turn the open stringer plates with the winding of the stair at the construction site since no drillings are pre-set.
