Online Installation of CS Wreath at Tischlerei Mike Altmann

The carpentry Altmann from Germany has been a Compass Software customer since 2015. Back then, they had purchased a new HOMAG Venture 316 L 5 axis machine from our partner Papenbroock GmbH & Co, who recommended Compass Software for the control of the machine. Since then, the customer has been successfully producing with our stair construction software.

In 2017 Altmann decided to upgraded their processing of wreaths from horizontal processing to the CS wreath technique. The installation of the module was conducted completely online. The customer was able to use the new module only 3 days after ordering it. The CS wreath module made it possible to produce 50% faster than before.

The customer was so impressed with the smooth and fast installation that he left the following feedback:

We ordered the CS wreath on Sept. 25, 2017. We were able to download and install the license key update on the very same day. Since we’ve always had positive experiences with the Compass telephone service, we decided to also try setting up the new option via phone support. Technician Kai Schwerenhoff was able to offer us an installation date within 3 days. Only a few hours later, everything was installed and the predefinitions were set-up completely. We were able to mill the first CS wreath on the same day. Two settings on the machine had to be adjusted and now everything runs smoothly.
The CS wreath option gives us a saving of time of 50%.
