The new processing step “finish parts, if possible” lets the unit drive around the handrailing without damaging neighboring elements.
The enhanced processing step plunges in precisely at the contour of the handrails and subsequently drives around the entire contour. That means that handrails can be finished completely during nesting. This makes an additional processing step to finish the part outside of nesting obsolete.
Handrails that do not have any horizontal processing steps (e.g. wall handrails), will automatically be added to the nesting without offset. They are processed on the CNC. Handrails with horizontal processing steps are assigned the predetermined offset so their processing can be finished on another machine. These steps can be mixed in one nesting as shown in the picture below.
