The magazine article describes the imperative role that automation plays in woodshops today. Only those companies that continually invest in the digitalization and automation of their production, can remain successful on the marketplace. The Polish customer Władysław Majoch therefore decided to upgrade his workshop with a CNC machine and our stair design software. This has enabled the woodshop to withstand the shortages of skilled labor and satisfy the growing demand on the market.
The installation of the new machine and software was conducted completely remotely. The Compass Software technicians worked together with our Polish partner TOP BIT to implement the system.
Since then, the machine has been running smoothly and offers great advantages when it comes to nesting. Next to automation, saving materials is another important topic, because not only time is money, but materials get more and more expensive every day. The efficient nesting capabilities of the machine save additional material.
Władysław Majoch wants to continue investing in the optimization of his workshop. Compass Software’s modularly built solutions offer many possibilities to automate and optimize all processes.
