2025 WK05
- If a category is assigned to a balustre or post and the dialog is exited with OK, an internal error message appears if you try to change the properties of the balustre or post again. The dialog no longer opens, 10.12.29.x+CompassUpdate
2025 WK04
- During CNC program generation for "clamping screws tilted from the bottom", invalid values were output for the coordinates. The error only occurred if the tread side was at the top. 10.12.29.x+CompassUpdate
- In some cases, pockets could not be machined as open pockets if their contour contained small edges relative to the cutter radius that were created by shortening the pocket on the current machining body. 10.12.29.x+CompassUpdate
2025 WK03
- An epsilon problem in the queries meant that a cheek angle with a fixed opening angle was not set although it would have fitted in the construction. 10.12.29.x+CompassUpdate
- The 3D display of posts was not OK if the width transition in the post was thinner at the bottom than at the top. Only the 3D view was affected, all views and templates were OK. Problem is solved --> not patchable.
- In the external staircase, imported treads can be subsequently edited. After the change, the treads must be redefined so that the changes are included in the templates. Error --> If a pocket was included in the tread, the number of pockets was doubled with each redefinition of the tread --> fixed 10.12.29.x+CompassUpdate. Change --> In this context it became clear that the “Edit” mode is not easy to use. If the customer leaves the mode without redefining the tread, the menu is closed without saving the changes in the template. Here the user now gets a hint when he tries to leave the dialog after a change. This part is not patchable and will only be added to the software with 10.12.30.x
- Fixed a system error + crash if a dowel in a chamfer connection was deleted in the entry post if there was an adjoining balcony railing. Fixed for 10.12.29.x with CompassUpdate!
- The DXF output in the dimensioning module (export explicitly via “Export file”, NOT via “Save as DXF”!) did not adhere to the color values specified by AutoCAD. Under certain circumstances, this also led to incorrect colors being displayed or the DXF file not being able to be opened at all. This error has been corrected and the next color that matches the AutoCAD color table is used. This change is not patchable and is implemented in 10.12.30.0.
- When creating laser files for stringer plates, an error occurred so that this file could not be read. The error occurred when, according to the vacuum cup information, the part is moved before processing. This case was not previously taken into account. 10.12.29.x + CompassUpdate
- In-situ concrete stairs: Kink in tread on outer edge was not taken into account, so the tread did not fit. Now, after the angle between the sections, the distance of the point to the changed outer edge is also taken into account.
2025 WK02
- In the Compass free-form construction there is a function “Continue” --> “With distance (mouse)”. A starting point is selected with the left mouse button. The end point is determined with a second mouse click. A line of any length and any angle is created between the start and end points. If the Shift key on the keyboard is held down after the start point, the line can be aligned vertically or horizontally. The function used here was faulty. The lines were not exactly vertical and horizontal --> fixed -->10.12.29.x+Compass update from 07.01.2025
- In the case of rectangular posts, wild 3D representations occurred in some cases around triangular railings or kinks at the exit. Production data and views were OK. Fixed 10.12.29.x +CompassUpdate from 10.01.2025
- During the CNC program generation of plates from retrun nosings, turned plate elements were shifted and were output at an incorrect position. The error has been fixed and patched (CSProcessorA.dll) from version 10.12.29.43
2025 WK01
- Export of round handrails to IFC not OK in some cases. Handrail must be designed round/with profile in Compass, IFC export must be set to “High” quality by default so that the profile is transferred to IFC. In rare cases, the handrail is missing in the IFC file. Problem solved 10.12.29.x +CompassUpdate
2024 WK51
- The Tread - Drilling pattern (2) dialog was not OK. Drilling pattern selection for outside was not at the height of the help image. If the dialog is resized, the drop-down grows through the images. Dialog revised accordingly.
Components of the parts on the front side of an wreath handrail led to a system error when the properties were called up. Removed. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update - In a special case, the trim points were calculated incorrectly in the area of an wreath when the function “Parallel to top (changeable)” was active. If the contour was to be changed, a system error occurred. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update: Attention Set lower edge once to “Parallel to bottom” and then back to “Parallel to top (changeable)”
- A side effect in the balustrade led to incorrect baluster positions in the floor plan. It was necessary to move and rearrange the bars in the individual processing. 10.12.29.x + Compass software Update
- It was no longer possible to insert a drilling pattern for the stringer connection “single continuous top/bottom”. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- If the double angle is multiselected/selected by holding down the CTRL key and pressing DEL on the keyboard, a system error occurs.
2024 WK50
- Fixed an error when calculating bevels on risers. When converting the bevels, an attempt was made to find corresponding points on the finished contour. The case that there is a second bevel on one side was apparently not taken into account. 10.12.29.x + Compass software update
- A cryptic system error occurred when calling up the start toothing. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- During DXFCAM export, layer names could have spaces, e.g. “Connection hole top”. This occurred in the named layer of the DXF file. When opening the DXF viewer, the component was not displayed and appeared to be faulty. Why is this the case? Layer names must fulfill certain requirements for DXF files, in this case they must not contain spaces. An adjustment has been made to the export of layer names: characters that are invalid according to the definition are converted to _. This means that no customer has to change the layer names in their DXFCAM export settings and every program can open the generated file. Only available in the next release version
- In the balcony railing, the standard connections for infill boards were not always adopted from the floor plan presetting. 10.12.29.x + Compass software Update
- The bevel markings were missing in the template display for the “Toothed top continuous” connection. All production information were correct.10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- Create wall on top (on well hole) caused a system error. Error occurred as a side effect of another bug fix in 10.12.29.x. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- Fixed an error in the calculation of bevels on risers. When converting the bevels, an attempt was made to find corresponding points on the finished contour. The case that there is a second bevel on one side was apparently not taken into account. 10.12.29.x + Compass software Update
2024 WK49
- System error when opening the properties on the handrail head site fixed. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- System error when creating a turning post fixed. Cause was the tread cover of step 10 which is not calculable by the post. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- Deleting walls in the ground floor plan has led to a system error. The problem only occurs if there are walls above in addition to the walls of the staircase, 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- Instead of the system error, a message has been added to help the user to activate the function if there are no articles in the database yet and these are added in the properties of the staircase.
2024 WK48
- Fittings are sorted alphabetically in the drilling pattern tree. The drilling patterns are also sorted alphabetically when called up in the construction, but capital letters in the name are taken into account differently. This means that the sequences in the design and in the drilling pattern tree diverge. This has been eliminated, not patchable
- A system error occurred when transferring data to individual parts, solved for 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- If the leading edge exit is designed “Parallel to well hole”, the value of the leading edge jumps to “Curved to the right of the running line, straight at the bottom” as soon as the tread shape is adjusted faceside or offside.10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- A single fitting should be deleted in the drilling pattern tree on a drilling pattern. If this was done via the “Delete” dialog or the “Del” key, the drilling pattern has been deleted. Only the selected fitting is deleted. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
- Error in CNC program generation fixed. The program could not be created with the message from the profile operation “No feed set”. However, the feeds were entered correctly. This was caused by an error when considering the feed rate for the front edge profile. As a result, the feed was too small and it was assumed that no feed was set. 10.12.29.x + Compass Software Update
